Regular worship services are held every Sunday morning at 9:00 am.
Christmas and Easter service times are posted closer to the date (see below).
Our weekly family worship service is where young and the old gather in one place to worship God. Together we share in a time of welcome with visitors offered the “passing of the peace” to the other Congregations via a candle lit from the Christ Candle. Bible reading each Sunday is in accordance with the Revised Common Lectionary. The remainder of the service, including the sermon, is taken by our minister Rev. Allan Smith.
The entire service is enriched with singing of praise and worship songs assisted by the multimedia presentation of an overhead data projector. Sunday morning services culminate with Holy Communion (unless there is a Baptism).
Everyone is invited to gather for morning tea in the Church hall at the end of the service (every second Sunday at the moment) and fellowship with each other. Tea, coffee and light refreshments are provided free of charge.
The Gladstone Uniting Church provides a cry room for babies, children and their parents. We also have an area within the Worship Centre where parents with young children are able to sit comfortably while their children have space to move about, do activities and basically just do what kids do, while parents are still a part of the congregation and can take part in the service.
