Prayer Groups
Ladies' Prayer Group
A group of ladies of the Gladstone Uniting Church meet every Wednesday (during the school term) in a home from 9:00am to 11:00am for intercessory prayer.
This group prays for prayer requests received by the Church or individually for those in need of God's blessings. These include prayers for people all over the world who have requested such prayers regardless of race or religion.
We thank God for many answered prayers and for making us His instruments to bring peace and joy to people. We believe that God blesses people with many talents and one such talent is the gift of prayer. Answered prayers encourage us to keep praying for all people who are in need of blessings from God.
Prayer requests may be sent to the Ladies' Prayer Group and to all other Prayer Groups in this Church in the following ways:
-
During the Worship Service: Please fill out a Green Card available at the
Welcome Table" or in the pews to indicate the prayers required and place it in the
Prayer Well" at the back of the church. These will be passed on to the Prayer Groups by the Minister.
-
By Phone or email: Please send your request for the prayers to:

Prayer Days
12 Hour Day of Prayer
This year we will be having 3 prayer days from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Each person is not expected to be engaged in prayer for any more than one hour. As required, the time can be set to suit individual needs.
This time in prayer is a great spiritual upliftment for those who choose to come and spend an hour with God. Many who have prayed have felt God's presence and have come away moved in a special way.
Format for these days.
